The hunt for gun's in Tivoli still on

Since the invasion in the Tivoli Gardens community on Sunday May 23 2010.The Jamaica Defense Force and the Jamaica Constabulary force have not given up their relentless search for the alleged "drug lord" Christopher "Dudus" Coke. Since last week a reported 56 guns and approximately12000 assorted rounds of ammunition have been seized from the community and the security forces are determined to find much more and as such there presence in the community is heavily pronounced as the fight on crime and the hunt for Mr.coke is still at center stage.

Corporate area still under curfew

The corporate area though still under a limited state of emergency, some area's are also being placed under curfews so that limited movement is prohibited has the security forces continues their search for illegal ammunition and alleged drug lord, Christopher "Dudus" Coke. The curfew which began yesterday starts 6 pm and ends 6am. The curfew is extended south along Spanish Town road from Maxfield avenue  to Industrial Terrace; from Marcus Garvey drive to Port Royal street and east along  Slipe Pen road to Princess street.
